M91 Field Shirt
The M91 is a versatile raglan-sleeve field shirt familiar from the Finnish Defence Forces. Origopro has manufactured these shirts as a contract supplier for the Defence Forces for several years.
Technical Specification
The shirt is a long-sleeved, ribbed-knit shirt with raglan sleeves. The Army version is olive green, and the Navy version is navy blue. The collar is an approximately 10 cm high rib-knit stand-up collar that can be zipped up completely. The cuffs are also ribbed. The left sleeve features a hook-and-loop (Velcro) patch for rank insignia.
The material composition and knit structure are designed to keep the skin dry and warm. The knit is also inherent fire-retardant (does not promote burning), which increases user safety. The shirt is worn in winter, autumn, and spring. In cold weather, a mid-layer jacket is worn over the shirt for additional warmth. The shirt can also be worn as an outer layer.
A medium-sized shirt weighs approximately 330 g. The shirts are manufactured in seven different sizes (XS–XXXL).
