How does Arctic apex differ from a standard down jacket? The key difference is the Climashield apex™ insulation. Unlike down, this synthetic fiber does not collapse or lose its warmth when wet. Furthermore, the jacket features a continuous insulation layer without quilting, meaning there are no needle holes (cold spots) for wind to enter or heat to escape.

Why are there no velcro patches on this model? This black version is designed as a “low profile” alternative to our M05 tactical jacket. By removing the velcro surfaces from the chest and sleeves, we’ve created a cleaner, more discrete look that works perfectly for urban use and professional security work.

Can I wear a heavy backpack with this jacket? Absolutely. The shoulders and upper back are reinforced with authentic Cordura® fabric. This prevents mechanical wear from backpack straps and ensures the jacket lasts for years, even under heavy professional use.

Is the jacket waterproof? The jacket is windproof and highly water-resistant. It is designed for sub-zero temperatures and arctic conditions. While it repels snow and light rain, it is not a hardshell raincoat. However, because the Climashield insulation is moisture-resistant, it will keep you warm even if it gets damp.

How should I care for my Arctic apex jacket? The jacket is low-maintenance. Machine wash at 30–40°C with mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Since the insulation is a continuous filament, it doesn’t require tumble drying with tennis balls to regain its loft—it bounces back naturally.
