Backpack Cape Town Roll Top, Orange

Cape Town Roll-Top light backpack is made of waterproof and light Typhoon™ carbon fiber reinforced ripstop fabric.

Mika Kalakoski, the 20-time leader of the Antarctic research expedition, claims to be the father of the backpack. For his trips to find supplies in Cape Town, South Africa, he needed a backpack that was light and packed into a small space, in which he could pack supplies for the expedition members to the Antarctic camp. The backpack was realized together with Origopro’s product development team.

he backpack packs into a small 18×18 cm zippered bag. The bag has a zipper puller on both sides, so the bag works as a pocket inside the backpack when the backpack is in use.

The backpack has mesh fabric pockets on both sides and an elastic cord in the front, which can be used to tighten the backpack so that the items stay tight. The upper part rolls up to be waterproof and closes with a side locking buckle. A name tag, reflector or insignia can be attached to the adhesive base of the upper part of the backpack with velcro.

There is a small zippered pocket on the back of the backpack. The shoulder straps are adjustable and there is a hanging/carrying handle at the top of the backpack.

The M05 forest pattern coloring meets the visual and IR light reflection requirements of the Defense Forces.
