Origopro’s thermal underwear is composed of two fibrous materials, which are combined to complement each other. Merino wool has a heat-insulating fiber and Cordura polyamide yarn is on the surface to provide abrasion resistance.
The 100% merino wool, which is against the skin, is a soft 19 Micron strong merino sheep’s wool that does not contain artificial fibers.
Cordura is used in many durable applications, such as motorcycle clothing and workwear.
The seams are Flatlock flat seams.
Wool can absorb moisture up to 40% of its own weight, and still feel dry. When binding moisture, wool releases heat to the skin, but the feeling does not become too hot, as the evaporation of moisture from the garment equalizes the heat.
Merino wool is antibacterial, so often ventilation is enough, rather than frequent washes.

NATURALLY ANTIBACTERIAL Merino wool contains lanolin which makes it naturally antibacterial. Due to its anti-antibacterial properties, wool does not collect odors like artificial/synthetic fibers. Merino wool underwear does not need to be washed as often as artificial/synthetic fibers. Often, ventilation is enough.

19 μm thin merino wool fiber has been used in the Origo underwear. The underwear made of fine fiber feels luxuriously soft and does not itch even the most sensitive skin.
MERINO WOOL WARMS UP
The curly wool of merino fiber with microscopically small air pockets absorbs heat exuding from the body better than synthetic fibers and warms the skin more effectively.
WOOL REMOVES MOISTURE
Merino wool transfers moisture away from the skin. Even when moist, merino wool feels dry and warm.
ELASTIC KNITWEAR
The elastic knit of the Origopro outfit is comfortable to wear and does not tighten even in extreme positions. The knit of the product is thick and warm.
WELL-FITTING CUT AND SCANDINAVIAN DIMENSIONS
The underwear is designed for the Finnish user. The hem of the shirt is long enough and the legs and sleeves of the pants are loose enough. The waist of the trousers is high and protects the lower back.
FLATLOCK SEAMS ARE FLAT Flatlock seams are flat on both sides.
WASHING
The product can be washed by hand or in a washing machine with a wool program.
