It is believed that the history of a woolly hat begun from Wales in the 14th century and after the knitting machine was invented the production methods were adopted to Norway. After several stages the woolly hat was introduced again through the second world war as the Navy “Watch cap”. The world-famous traveller and seafarer Jacques Cousteau made the red watch cap known all over the world as it was his “signature ” head wear. Now this beanie is part of Origopro’s head wear selection as well.
Soft and stretchy 2×1 patent knit makes the beanie comfortable to wear. When the wool gets in touch with water the wool fibre curls more and more – that’s the magic why it feels warm even when wet. Wool is naturally anti-bacterial and needn’t to be washed too often. Just give your product a little dusting and fresh air and it’s good to go. However if you sometimes want to wash it, we suggest to use detergent which is suitable for delicate fabrics.
