These practical Origopro Outdoor Rain Chaps are a modern, enhanced version of the Finnish Defence Forces’ classic design. They are specifically engineered for hunting, trekking, and hiking, where reliable protection against moisture is essential.

The chaps are constructed from durable nylon fabric with a waterproof polyurethane (PU) inner coating. Even without taped seams, the material provides dependable protection against rain and wet undergrowth. The fabric meets the Finnish Defence Forces’ M05 IR (NIR) reflection standards, ensuring perfect concealment in woodland environments.

  • Seam Logic: The chaps are designed with as few seams as possible. Although the seams are not taped, the PU-coated fabric itself is 100% waterproof, and the strategic placement of the seams minimizes direct rain exposure to the stitching.
