This item is made of lightweight carbon fiber-reinforced fabric for hunting and civilian use, enhanced by the Defense Forces winter outfit model.
The insulation is Climashield® Apex hollow fiber polyester, which is used by the US army in extreme clothing. In terms of CLO insulation value, it is 2.5 times warmer than the insulation of the original clothing of the Defense Forces.
Climashield Apex insulation has filament fibers in several layers. The fibers extend along the entire length from seam to seam from top to bottom. The diagonally alternating fiber layers strengthen the structure.
Unlike commonly used staple fiber insulation, the Filament fiber insulation does not need to be attached to the lining fabric by quilting, thus avoiding making air-permeable needle holes and the resulting cold bridges. A fluffy insulation forms warm pockets between the attachment points, which is then gently pressed against the user’s body, thus forming a protective heat layer close to the skin.
The cover fabric is Typhoon™ carbon fiber reinforced ripstop polyamide. The weight of the fabric is only about 30% of the fabric used by the Defense Forces. The fabric is silky, silent and does not shine, even in severe frost.

There is tightening with an elastic band and button on the back of the trousers. The band pulls the collar of the pants against the back to prevent wind and cold getting inside the pants. The length and tension of the band can be adjusted with the buttons on the left and right. The button´s elastic band is commonly available and can be replaced as needed.
Leg openings can be tightened and adjusted with an elastic band.
The suspenders are adjusted with side locking buckles.
The YKK buckles are very silent and soft-acting.

The M05 winter woodland and snow camo pattern are scientifically developed by the Finnish Forest Research Institute based on thousands of photographs. We believe that M05 is the best landscape in the world in the forest landscape of the northern hemisphere.
